Cigarette burn in headliner

Hey, I just put a cigarette into my headliner and have a small burn surrounded by a lot of black ash. Does anyone know how I can clean up the black ash around the burn and make this look better? It is AWFUL and I don't want to make it worse!

at the expensive side of the scale, check you local phone bok for an Automotive Upholstery facility. It may cost you a bit of money to fix, but then you may make it worse trying to fix it yourself.

Oh, and quit smoking.

These guys fixed my cars head liner and leather seats to look like new. Not that expensive either.
