Car Detailing Kits

What do you guys think is the best bang for the buck detailing kit? I have found these 3 on Amazon this morning.

Option #1 - Originally $229.99

Option #2

Option #3

i have found through use that Chem guys is TRASH.

Every time, there's a deal on chem guys products, i'm like hmmm,interesting... then when I receive product, it's just utter Garbage. the soap sucks. I find that in this "cheap soap" category, Adam's line of soaps and polishes is BETTER than chem guys, at the same price point.

in addition, I find "kits" not well equipped to your individual needs.

if i had to choose, i'd go for the torq kit.

I've used their Honeydew snow foam for years and love it. Tons of suds. Use with a foam cannon and you will be happy.

I think my problem is; i'm buying the chemguys soap that is heavily discounted on amazon.
Im sure their regular product is good, as most times, there's just one manufacture for chemicals/soaps anyway. just gets rebranded

I do use the Honeydew concentration and have a foam cannon. Mainly looking to save time on waxing and getting a better finish with an oribital.

the purist will say; Dont use an orbital for LSP or Last step product!
but i put that shit on the lowest setting to apply sealants, my choice of LSP.

mainly i use the orbital to correct paint, or to get the swirls and imperfections out.

the Porter cable is a novice machine. you will never burn through paint.

"to save time"

Heh, once you enter this rabbit hole, Alice...you wont know what time is

I agree, the Porter Cable is a great beginner orbital to use. tough to burn the paint but not impossible.

I would go with option 1. Porter cable does make decent products also. I use a porter cable palm orbital to apply wax on cars but my polisher is a Rupes. If your main concern is the TL then the bigger pad will be nice since our cars have nice big panels with no moldings. Good luck and have fun with it

Shoot me a PM so I can build you a kit specific to your needs. This way you get everything you need and none of the BS

I would check out AdAms polishes Swirl Killer polisher. Almost no Chance of burning the clearcoat. I used this machine for both my cars, looks awsome. Ive never used machine before this bc i was too scared to ruin the car!!!
