Can I apply Paint cleanser and Polisher to my Car?
I have an 06 TL NBP (Auto). I brought it with exterior protection package and I was told that I don't have to apply any polish or paint cleanser because the car is coated with a Du-pont Coat which protects the paint. I only need to wash the car.
Is that true?
If so can I do the following on my car still
1. Clay
2. Apply Paint Cleanser (Meguiars)
3. Apply polisher
4. Top off with NXT Wax
or just wash only?
Please let me know as I am planning to wash the car this week.
Thanks

that scam from the dealership is just that, a scam. what did they get you for, $500?
either way, treat your car as you want. there is nothing on the car that will prohibit you from polishing, claying, waxing, sealing, etc.
im going to suggest wash>clay>cleanse>seal and/or wax. this is the ultimate line of defense for protective durability and shine.

Amazing how many people fall for that crap "protection" package from the dealer.
So like Patrick said, why do you want to do this? If you only have to wash it, why would you want to go through this? If you think there is a problem with what the dealer did, then take it back to them and have them redo what ever they did. At least get your moneys worth out of them...
