Burnt Titanium tips

Hey guys, what's the best way to clean burnt titanium tips? I know regular metal polish will strip the titanium look... any tips would be helpful!

This is what I mean:

Those tips look great! I used to have that look on my bike but I never had any problems with discoloring, in fact the more heat the more color

Wow Synth, you got the V5.1? It's an AWESOME exhaust

Sorry, I don't know how to keep it clean though :/ Maybe just use car wash soap?

^ yep.. got one of the few remaining 5.1's around from another prime member. Not directly on the burnt titanium part, but the rest of the tips are getting a bit dirty and have a bit of tarnish. I've heard that using WD40 should work.

What if you just wipe down the burnt tips with water, and you polish the rest of the exhaust like you normally would?
