Buffing out plastic

How does buffing out a bumper work?

a painted bumper? The same as buffing out any other parts of the car.

it's a painted bumper right?

If they aren't deep you can buff them out like any other part of the cars paint.

If they are deep, repaint

if you can feel the scratch with your finger nail it wont buff out if you cant it will. you have to wet sand will 1200 till the scratch is gone then use a good buffer and buffing compand like strata or 3m compound and just buff out the wet sand marks. you need to be very carefull becuase it is very very easy to burn threw the clear and paint when buffing i siggest you leave it to some one who know what they are doing.

or get a PC which it's almost impossible to burn paint with

I've never had a problem as long as they aren't really deep. A cutting pad and a few passes should get anything out you could get out w/ one pass and a rotary from my experience. Just takes more effort and time w/ a PC
