Blackfire Wet Diamond review

Review: Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant & my winter prep.

Weather was amazing this weekend in Charleston WV so I got winter prep done on my TSX and my wifes CRV. I still have to do my old skool white Acura…This car will get the most abuse during winter

My TSX has not been corrected in six month or so, about 3 weeks ago I used BFTPnS and one coat of BFWD. Since then Sandy came and it snowed and rained for 3 days.

Car was washed with Meguiars D114 first. For sealant I applied BFWD with a red LC ccs pad on speed 2 of my Megs GV. A litte BFWD goes a long way, and thinner is better, if you go thicker you will get excess dusting. On the pad I applied an X pattern to prime. When reloading the pad only use 2 to 3 pea sizes. After I was done applying I let it haze for 20 minutes and removed with a plush MF. Removing BFWD is effortless; you won’t believe how easy this process is. The paint is left extremely slicks with a deep almost nuba like glow. The product goes on easy, removes, easy, and 6 month durability!!! What more can we ask for!!

If your paint does not need correction use BFGEP or TPnS before applying BFWD

The windshield was coated with Gtechniq, the rest of the glass has the new Pinnacle glass trio, tires have the new Pinnacle Black Onyx dressing, and rims coated with BFCS. During winter I will try to apply BFCS monthly to the whole car.

Enjoy- Dhaval

You can see the black flakes in the Black Pearl paint with the flash, at night they are a lot more noticeable.

Been interested in BlackFire products - do you know how they hold up for durability compared to some of the other premium products? REALLY nice shine there.

On my car I usually apply every two month. But I did have a chance to test durability on my wife car. Earlier this spring I used Blackfire total polish and seal and then topped it with wet diamond after 4 month the water was still beading. So at least 4 month.

Here a older review on some other blackfire products I tried.

Review Frozen Inferno
This a BlackFire combo of Crystal Seal topped with Midnight Sun Paste wax.

Today’s products used and all pics taken with iphone 5 camera.

My car wasn’t that dirty, last week I washed it with Meguiars D114 and topped it with BF CS. So today I washed the car with BF Waterless wash, with boat load of Cobra towels. After everything was clean I used BF Crystal seal. I let it cure for 45 mins then topped it with BFMS
Here is a picture of BFCS curing.

We all know that Blackfire isn’t cheap, but it’s worth every penny. I have tried numerous # of waxes, from $12 to most pricey being BFMS. BF is easy to apply; I applied with a red 4inch pad by hand, in a straight line motion. I then removed it with a plush pakshak towel. I didn’t clean the wheels or tires this week; I cleaned them last week and applied BFCS to rims and BF Eclipse Gel.

Here are final pictures… I worked on the car in the garage at my office, I left the car in there for about one hour and then took pics on the roof and some reflection shots at the condo.. Enjoy.

Pictures at home about 2 or so hours after detailing.

When it was beading was that before or after a wash?

Before, I dont wash the CRV often...There was easily a month or so of dust and dirt built up.

And naturally almost anything after a wash should bead/sheet, from the change in surface tension.

Hi, do your car attract dust after the BFWD? I don't know but I applied to my RL and it was attracting dust like crazy. It provided a slick and shiny surface but the dust was driving me nut. Or is it just the surrounding that I live in? Have you tried the new Chemical Guys LAVA wax? It would be great if you prove a review on the LAVA hehehe.

Yes It can attract dust, after couple of days I wash the car with Blackfire Waterless and apply Blackfire Crystal seal and this helps with repealing dust.
