Black Spots All Over Wdp

Hand washed the TL for the first time in a month today, the recent cold temps have made it impossible to wash regularly.

I'm noticing small black spots, likely tar, all over the car. After a full inspection of the exterior, only these small black dots remain and no major dings from rocks/salt on the road...

Where there are so many of these tar spots, how can I safely remove them without damaging the paint and without having to spray each one individually.
Any suggestions? I used bug/tar remover for the major ones, but the smaller ones are just as noticible with their high quantity.

Please Help!!

Sounds like a job for a clay bar and plenty of quick detailer. Try it out. This means you will have to reapply your wax afterward. You will have to do this even with the Bug/Tar remover. I'm so glad I live out here in CA.

I have used this with great success and more info can be found here. And as SweetJazz noted, you will have to finish it off with another coat your fav wax/sealant.

Sweet, our time will come. Have you noticed the pollen release yet where you are?

That's good ole fashioned "industrial fallout"

I had a Taffeta White GS-R and my back bumper had rust specks. It was from brake dust imbedding in the paint.

Clay bar is the best bet. Make sure you have some time b/c once you clay you have ZERO protection on the paint. Gotta polish and wax right afterward :-( lotta time.
