best way to detail the dash

Can someone provide me with details as to the best way to detail my dash? the prior owner used one of those cardboard visors to keep the car cool in the sunlight and it has a few "smudge" marks on the dash from putting the visor in and out.

TIA.

Are these smudge marks marrs where the finish has been compromised? Or residue from something on the visor?

The smudges seem to have compromized the dash a bit to the point where there are light white (almost powder looking) smudges. I can take a picture if needed.

I'd try 303 protectant or Meguiars #40 vinyl & runner conditioner.

i have been using the meguiars but sometimes the dried out look comes back and i then use the meguiars gold class leather wipes and then wipe it down with a dry microfiber cloth to remove the wet look....
