Best way to clean my engine?
I have an 05 TL and I want to clean my engine without damaging anything. Any advice? What do I need to cover? What do I need to clean it? What do I lubricate afterwards? Appreciate any feedback.

Take off all your engine covers and use and ACP ... spray pretty well everything down but the alternator .. let it dwell a fer min then hose off .. .. let dry and wipe down any dirty areas.
Use a dressing like Meguiars #40 etc on a cloth to brighten up all the black.
Wash the covers with dish soap and dress then with the #40 and reinstall.
