BEST place in lower mainland Vancouver.

For those of you who live on the lower maintland of Vancouver, B.C. This IS the best place to have your car professionally detailed. Most of us know how to use a clay bar, why you need to paintbrush certain areas when washing. Simple stuff. If you ever do want to pay to have your car truly pampered. http://www.autospa.ca/ is the only place to consider.

more later.

Have you actually used them before or are you affiliated with them? I'm looking for a decent detailer in Vancouver. I've used Downtown Auto Spa previously - they were alright but I'm sure there are better out there. It's getting too cold and busy for me to do it myself, and wouldn't mind finding a decent detailer that I can just drop off at and pick up after work.

I'm not affilieated with them BUT, I was one of the owners first employees when he opened back in 89. I spent a total of four years in the shop detaililng mostly Exotic cars. Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche, Bently to name a few. I was even entrusted with the task of wet sanding a black Ferrari 348, wich I did. So not affiliated now but was. And yes, if the owners passion about cars is today what it was back then, then there is no better place to go. If you haven't checked out his web site, do so at http://www.autospa.ca/ Watch the intro. It says it all. I'm going down there tomorrow to say hello. Maybe I'll test his crew by getting a wash and wax.

wash and wax can tell you plenty if you know where to look for dirt after the car has been washed. I think also that if they are wet sanding Ferraris they are pretty good at paint correction.

Never mind. Looks like they closed. Pearls Auto Spa is the shop it turned into. Don't know anything about the work they do but it was all exotics in the shop.

Automagic at the Richmond Automall is like a best kept secret. They aren't fancy looking like some others but they do a great job and are well priced. Owner is a wicked guy too.
