Auto Rx Engine Cleaner
#2
Intermediate
I used it twice in the crankcase on my old Lexus RX300 - the motor on this SUV was known to be very prone to sludge. I was using Mobil1 full synthetic oil in it since about 6x,xxx miles so I really didn't have too much worries about sludge build-up. But being at 9x,xxx miles (first time I ran Auto RX in it) I wanted to try it out. My car ran significantly smoother after this treatment and the oil came out extremely filthy during each change in the Auto RX process.
Ran Auto RX again at 180,xxx miles (no reason - just paranoia of sludge build-up) and again the car felt significantly smoother. At about 190,xxx my tranny needed to be replaced and I instead traded the car in for my TL I have now.
I personally stand behind the stuff. I've recommended it to friends with GSR's that consumed motor oil like it was gas and they've seen drastic improvements.
Hope this helps.
