auto detail forums

i used to frequently visit an auto detailing forum. i can't remember what it is. i stumbled upon autopia - is that it? do you guys visit any? it's definitely one that is probably the most widely known - i'm just blanking cause i've been lazy for so long.

Probably Autopia, Ive been a member there for many years. I would much rather be here, then there....lol.
There's a lot of know it alls over there, and if its not done the way they do it, its not the right way.....JMO.

AutoPia is great! I also go to detailingbliss, autogeek and Truthindetailing and also Detail University!

Ahmen ... thats why I spend most my time here or in the VWvortex detailing forum. Know it alls and some that have done everything ... to everything .. with everything.... twice.

thanks. i love the info i get here, just looking for other sources of info as well. i think i remember a lot of know it alls also exceldetail. lol.

I agree, but im willing to learn too so im open to new ideas and tricks. i sometimes put my own tweaks on things to fit my needs.

Indeed. I joined there and left after two months. Nobody would comment on my work, answer my questions or even respond to my PMs just because I hadn't worked on a $750,000 Maserati race car. I posted once in the Pro detailers section and it was completely ignored. I swear the majority of people on there think their shit don't stink and that really is a shame because there are some pretty talented cats over there. I saw some very impressive write-ups.

Detailingbliss is a great site, much friendlier than Autopia and willing to help with your questions

Autopia used to be good, but it started downhill a while ago. I stopped visiting it sometime last year.
