If you can, try to get a hold of some P21S Wheel Cleaner Gel. It's really great stuff and won't harm your wheels.

Ya the P21S is great. I just keep a coat of Klasse Sealant Glaze on my wheels and the dirt/brake dust seems to almost spray off with water...only normal wash soap required.

Vinnier, thats what I thought to do. I will try your suggestion on Friday and if I dont get the desirable results, I will try the product recommended in this thread. Thanks

Actually, plain car wash soap and water will not completely break down baked-on brake dust on really bad wheels, hence the need for wheel cleaners.

Plain car wash soap solution is perfectly fine for well-maintained wheels but for tougher situations, it simply won't work.

I hope you understand now why there is a need for wheel cleaners.
