Any Way to Remove that Armor All Wet Look?
Any Way to Remove that Armor All Wet Look?
The previous owner of my CL used a heavy amount of glossy Armor All when detailing the interior. I really don't care that look at all and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to strip that stuff off.
Thanks

a towel will work but it will take a while to get all of the armor all out, you can use some rubbing alcohol and dilute it with water, 30/70 rubbing alcohol:water and that will take no time to get the armor-all off. Personally I am a detail freak and love the shiny look, the shinier the better. A dull or matte finish looks like you didn't even clean it. I am so anal about my car being spotless that I gauge its cleanliness when it doesnt shine bright anymore. Just my

Thanks for the suggestions. The greasy look has been buging me.
I tried to find a place that sells 303 cleaner locally and didn't have any luck. I will give the damp towl a try and see how much work it is then switch to the alcohol solution if need be.
I have read on some past threads that 303 is a nice non-gloss protectant so I will probably pick up some of it. I already have some lexol lying around but it has a light gloss to it.

it's not greasy shit like butter or crisco. It's protectant from uv rays and and dry rot. I clean my dash first with 30/70 rubbing alocohol and water, then apply armor-all extreme shine. The glare doesnt bother me at all. Everyone has there preferances. And I disagree not all good detail products for your dash have a matte finish, that is simply an opinion.
