Annoying water spots

What's the best easy way to prevent or remove water spots off your car? Thanks!

Water spots are basically mineral deposits that are found in your water. The only true way to prevent them would be to do all of your rinsing/washing through a filter and this would eliminate them 100% (at the very least doing your rinsing through a filter would eliminate any big issues with water spots)

Something like this would serve you well, however there are other products out there. Clean Water Filter Kit

However, the best thing to do is wash when it's not so hot and not in direct/full sun and keep rinsing the entire car at all times even when washing. This doesn't allow the water to sit in one place for a long period of time and will give you time to get the car washed until you can dry it.

The fastest and probably easiest way to dry the car would be air. Either by a air compressor or leaf blower. This would help get all of the water off the car easier and keep it moving so that it cannot sit long enough to cause any spotting.

I have used a waterless carwash for years and have had no water spots. Spray it on and wipe off the dirt. I do this in the garage so it doesn't matter what the weather is.

And if you use the spray on / wipe off (I use prolong) always use microfiber cloths.

The only reason you are getting water spots is either from rain or from a car wash. Most likely you are using a self service car wash. The water there is not clean. What I would do is order this product called ONR wash. Its like $15. Take your car to a self service wash, spray your car down to get the dirt off. Dry it with a large microfiber towel. Spray the car down with the ONR with distilled water and wipe with a microfiber towel. This will keep your car waterspot free and very shiny. Its extremely easy dude. Just gotta buy the right products

This should help.

Or buy a white car - it does not show the water spots!
