Alright, Im Ready for Zaino

Would like to apply my first coat of Zaino this weekend. Please suggest exactly what I should purchase and where a good place to get it is. I'd appreciate it.

Well if you want to do it this weekend, you should have ordered it last week. Zaino is not available in retail stores, unless you live in Jersey.

www.ecklers.com might be able to overnight product to you.

I would say get:

Z1
Z2
Z5
Z6
Z7
Go to any automotive store and buy some foam applicator pads, not the cotton ones. They waste too much product.

Buy Fieldcrest Charisma white 100% cotton towels to remove the residue.

Oh and read THIS post for instruction on how to prep your car, apply Z, and get your car looking great.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply. I am off all next week so it can wait if necessary. I'll check out that site today.

Thanks again.

You don't really need Z7 (I think thats the carwash) and Z1 could render useless to you depending on how abrasive of a polish you need.

Huh? Z1 is the polish lock and is an absolute necessity if you don't go the ZFX route.

Really? I thought Z1 was just like Zaino's cleaner? Why do you NOT need Z1 if you go the ZFX route?

ZFX contains the bonding agent. If you mix ZFX with Z2 or Z5, you can avoid Z1.

Z1 needs to be applied every 10 or so coats...if you're not using ZFX.
