All birds should dieeeeeee...

As you can guess from the title I am having a problem with birds...or more specifically with them choosing to use my car as their personal bathroom. I have an 08 TL-S in Red and it seems like a freaking target for them. Long story short I just had my car fixed, repainted and detailed. Yesterday I go to work clean as a whistle get home 8 hours later and bam nice present for me on the rear driver side pillar. Of course I clean it right away using a microfiber towel and some of the optimum no wash solution mixed with water. I got the bird crap off but I can see what looks like a haze or shadow from where the crap was. No matter how much i rub it or use the wash stuff i can't get rid of it. Anyone have any ideas of how to get rid of it?

Also while I'm here I need ideas on how to clean the front chrome around the Acura symbol. I have water spots on it I need to get rid of and return the original beautiful shine.

Thanks to all for the help

The "poop" has done some etching and your going to have to polish the area to get it below the etch.

Meguiars ScratchX should do it with patience if you don't have a buffer & polishes ..

ScratchX should also work on the water spots.

Etching that is the word I drew a blank on thanks. So being I am so anal and want my paint to keep looking good and scratch free i'm thinking it might be time to invest in a buffer. can you recommend any buffers and polishes that would be good to have to remove small scratches, bird poop etching and such?

Thanks for the info I will look into it. And to verify I can use the meguiars on the chrome to remove water spots? After that do i use like eagle one or blue magic chrome polish to shine it or the meguiars is enough?

Ya just be gentle with it on the crome .. your wanting to use the cleaning abilities not the abrasives.

Then any wax/sealant.

birds shit on my car even when its in the garage.
Mind you my audi sits right next to the acura and only the acura has bird crap on it.

I've searched hi and low in my garage for any openings in the wall or ceiling and couldnt find anything.

I think birds love black cars btw... Since my audi is yellow I guess that doesnt interest them.

Just remember to not buff too much because each time you do it your removing layers of clearcoat.
