About to restor paint, FIRST TIMER

Well guys its my first time using the 7424xp with detailaddicts full line of products and to finish it with p21s full carnuba.

Question I have is this: How many polishing pads do I need in order to polish the whole car? Can I just use the same one or do I need to change to a fresh pad on each new panel?

Thanks for the help just want to make sure I get this right the first time.

i would recommend to use at least 4 pads for compounding/medium polish stage but you have to judge for yourself, depends how dirty/full of polish pad will get. you can use about pad for 2-3 panels but then again you have to judge for yourself on this one, clean pad with pad cleanning brush after each full pass on section of the panel, if you dont know what i mean then you need to watch more youtube videos

this is good one, but go slower on each pass, better to do one slow pass then 2 fast onces, do not use a lot of polish, use pad conditioner before putting polish on pad (quick detailer works ok if you dont have dedicated pad conditioner). use new microfiber towel for each polishing step. plus for each polishing step you will need to use several microfibers

do not use that much polish as they use, more is not better

also read this, will help a lot with prep and how to do things
