Car started out brand new, so some light dealer installed scratches (no befores, you know what a new car looks like). No too bad though.

Car has bad orange peel, though.

Wash, clay, wash.

Polish with PC, Orange LC pad and Optimum Hyper Polish Spray bottle.

Coat of Blackfire, followed by a second coat 7 days later.

LSP is Natty's Blue over the two coats of BF.

Klasse SG on the wheels.

Nice!
Why did you wait 7 days before the 2nd coat of BF?

What dressing did you use on your tires?

I was busy. Weekends are the only chance I get, and I was traveling in between.

I used Megs purple gel on the tires.

ohh la la...bootyful!

The wheels do look damn good, but I can see how it can be a pain with all the spokes.

Thanks!

Hence the SG on them. I am looking for a good brush to use when I clean them, but the SG really helped keep the wheels clean on my previous car.

Thanks, SB.

I was less than impressed with the Blackfire, truthfully. I used a PC on 3 with a grey pad.

That may be why. I've always applied it by hand.

Question on the Megs purple gel, I use this as well but feel like there is too much sling...I lightly apply with a foam applicator and do not over saturate the applicator.

Do you have issues with sling or my friend should say "you got too much sauce on them tires."

Didn't you later apply a carnauba over the BFWD? I'm looking to get some Blackfire come spring, wondering if applying a wax over it is worth any extra depth or gloss.

You think that might make a difference? Gray should have no cutting and I did it to make sure I got a nice even coat.

I get zero sling.

I draw a bead of the Megs most of the way down the pad for 1/2 the tire, then repeat for the other half. I use the applicator to rub the gel in pretty well, maybe 5 or six passes over the half the tire I am working on. I generally let the car sit for a little while after I apply, too.

How much of an effect would you say Natty's Paste had over the BFWD?

A lot.

I thought the BF looked like I hadn't put anything on my car. The Natty's made me happy inside my soul.

In the future, I will probably go back to me beloved standby products of Klasse SG topped with Collinite 845IW for the summer here.

I think NASA uses that combo on the space shuttles to protect against radiation.

I'll buy that combo just for the bragging points

One more question: How does Klasse SG stand against brake dust? I'm guessing it's not a dedicated wheel sealant?

Just curious how much of the Hyper Polish is left after doing a full car with it? I'm wondering how many cars could be done with one bottle? Well I guess that would depend on size of car, paint condition, etc...

I have never used a dedicated wheel sealant so I don't have any comparison for you...

Easily five to seven. I did my entire car, maybe 30-40 sprays total onto the PC pad (give or take) and the bottle level is currently:

How does it compare with the beading from just Blackfire?

This is why washing a freshly protected car =

I mean you put the towel over the car, and all the water just comes off. Can't believe no one's thought of it, really.

Who cares? Just look at that beading!

it's like a water bead garden, or a water bead farm! Maybe a water bead factory!

Agreed...I used the optimum compound followed by their polish and still have most of the bottle left...I feel I used alot of product but there is still ALOT left...Alittle goes a long way...
