2008 Mitsubishi EvoX Photoshoot Prep

I was contacted by this customer two weeks ago, he found me through another friend. He had a photoshoot yesterday so we made an appointment to clean up his car on Friday, here are the results:

Minor swirls, only had 2 RIDS, not too bad for a never been detailed car:

Nasty looking Brembos:

All cleaned up, easily 15 minutes per wheel/brake, due to how low he was, I couldn't scrub tires or fender wells all that good....

2 wheels/brake calipers done, picture of me starting to work on them exhaust tips:

Me: Hey bro, are the inside of the exhaust tips painted?
Customer: Uh, I think so, I've never seen them any other color....
http://www.flickr.com/photos/detailmaniac/5396572619/
Me: You should come take a look at your tips.......
Customer: Holy OMFG, I never knew they were not painted, lol.

Since I wasn't using a rotary, I just taped up the plastic/rubber trims to prevent polish staining them:

The owner giving it a shot on the roof:

Owner: Hey! I can read my text message off the reflection!
Me: lol

Reflection and semi-artsy shots:

Since the sun was almost down by the time I got done, I used my Sun Gun for final inspection + picture:

Nice looks like the car was well-cared for, aside from the exhaust tips. I 'd.

Thanks! We only removed the wing so I can wash/clay/polish/wax underneath the wing, lol.
And that's not my iPhone, it's the customer's. Good catch on the butt, I didn't even notice that, haha.

Nice! great job Mike! I didn't know 303 Aerospace protectant can be used as tire shine. I gotta try that out next time.
