thats freakin awwwwful, how can you let that sit for 36 hours!!, i heard if you get a box of baking soda and leave it open in your car for a few nights it will absorb all the smell of cigarettes? maybe it will help in this situation?

Im guessing he had a lil too much Jack Daniels also.......lol
Really, your over that magic threshold of time. Things go downhill with vomit rather quickly. You also have to consider, she hurled stomach acids.......

Cmon ya wusses! Like youv'e never seen puke before! Sheeeeeesh quit bein babies! His hotty hurled. Probably a little late, but what I would have done, is removed the paper element on my shop vac, and just sucked all that crap up, then wiped with a microfiber, then soaked another MF in a APC solution, and wiped it all up (whatever was left). Then tossed both microfibers. Done deal........A shop vac is your best friend in most of these cases.....
I like how you took pictures of it with her still seated in the car!

I'm sure that helps but I don't really think it fixes the problem.

What a coincidence, my 12 year old daughter (stomach virus) did the same thing in the backseat/floor of my TL last Sunday. So you have my sympathy, here's what I did.
1) As soon as I got home and my wife took car of my daughter, I got the shop vac out and vaccumed as much of it as I could from the seat , carpetting, and floor mats.
2) I used paper towells to get as much of the piosture out of remaining carpet. When it was fairly dry I used Resolve worked into the carpet fibers, then shop vac'ed ~5 minutes later to remove. I repeated the Resolve/shop vac two more times.
3) The leather I cleaned again with paper towells. Then used McGuires leather cleaner/conditioner serveral times to clean and condition.
4) steps 1-3 took ~two hours of cleaning and waiting for the cleaning products to work. The results were great no smell or ordor even a week after it happened.
FWIW the same daughter, ~ten years ago also got sick (also a stomach virus) in our 1989 Acura Legend (coming from FL to MD) and vomited 10-12 times. I think the carpet technology in cars has improved alot since that was alot harder to clean from what I remember. This time while shop vac'ing the rear carpet I could literally see clean carpet even before using Resolve so the coating on the carpet fibers REALLY resists stains. So anyway again you have my sympathy, not a pretty task but I wish you the best of luck with it. Also cute GF so I'd give her a break too!

Holy FAWK! Dude if I she was my GF I'd first PIHB and then I'd beat her wif a bat! I can understand just a little on the door or floor before getting the window open but DAMN she musta been barfing for a good 5 mins straight! Didn't you think to stop the car, open her door and drag her ass out? Jeebus! Anyway, here's my advice. If it were my car I'd take everything out that is removable such as mats and what not then wash em. The door panel needs to be taken off and detailed inside and out. Make sure you remove the speaker as well if it is attached to the door panel to get out all the juices. You need your carpet professionaly steam cleaned. If you do not take everything apart that the juices could have leaked in to you will get a nice stinky surprise every time you open the door to your car after it's been sitting in the sun for a whlie. Barf stench just amplifies with heat. Don't ask me how I know this, just know the asshat who puked in my car once got a good beatdown from the rest of us who were in the car with him.

damn..that's just so so wrong...man, 36 hours?! geez...hopefully a detail shop/car wash within your area can actually clean the mess w/o leaving anything behind..or better yet, i would've had her clean it herself...you drink + you barf in MY car = YOU are cleaning it! pretty simple...'nuff said...

Thanks for everyone's advice! They will be pretty USEFUL. As for the 36 hours, its officially more than that. I finally got the urge to go out there today (wednesday afternoon) and triple vacuum sucked everything in. Since its been sitting there since Saturday night till wed. afternoon, thats really 4 days (96 hours) to be exact.
But guess what? Just letting it sit actually helped out because everything was dried and frozen up, so the smell was preserved and everything came out. Even the carpet is now "clean" with ABSOLUTELY no spots or stains. Everything literally just vacuumed out.
Now all I have to do is remove the door panels, speakers, and what not to get the excess in the creaks and tiny places out. Since its been so COLD, it has not smelled one bit. Everytime I get in the car, it don't smell at all. Only thing my friends and I smell is the squash air freshener, although they do freak out seeing the puke left in the passenger side.
The carpet looks fine now, but I will steam it just to be safe.
Thanks for everyone's advice.

Wow, I can't believe you left it so long. My ex puked once (not nearly as bad) and I cleaned it out at 4 in the morning and made her wait outside while I did it. I can't believe you drove that thing and had friends in the car after the face. Good luck pulling the panel apart and I hope the smell doesnt surface on the first warm day
Oh yea, it is kinda gross but grow up people

Tell her to open the window next time. She was 3 inches from it!!! Nastyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Next time you and her get drunk, leave your car where it is and take a cab. Or at least make her take a cab. Haha good luck getting it all cleaned up.

She couldn't have just puked onto the all season mats! At least it would've been easier to clean than the door. That's why I keep a plastic bag and water bottles handy. At least she's cute.

couple years back, I bought an 05 evo brand new and about a week after I bought we all went out. I had 6 people crammed in it (I was 20) and my girl was in the back sitting kinda crammed with another girl and 2 guys. She was in the back because I had one tall friend who fit better up front. So she gets sick, gives me all of 3 econds to pull over and she BARELY makes it out of the window. She gets some puke on my headliner, some puke on the back of my recaro leather seat, its all over her hair and clothes. I get home, carry her in put her in the shower and start that process. I then leave her with this other girl we're friends with and i go out to see the damage. There was puke fromthe backdoor to the rear bumper. It was even on the side of the wing!!! I hosed it all off and got all the stuff on the outside off. Then in the AM I told her to clean the inside. She even admitted she could have given me more warning.
but nothing beats my boy who one time was talking to a group of people (including some girls we just met) and he has to puke and he's so DRUNK that he just picks up the collar of his shirt and pukes down his own shirt, then wipes his mouth with his shirt and acts like nothing happened. As we see the wet spot develop in his shirt AND pants we're like "ahhhhhh WHY The Fck did you just do that" he says "IDK, seemed like a good idea at the time"
I can feel your pain bro BUT, she'd DEF me making it up to me
