Rear wheel bearing replaced at 20,000 miles
FWIW: Just had rear wheel bearing replaced, under warranty. It started making noise about a week ago, like a faint "baseball cards in the spokes" sound. I've had RDX for 1 year and 20,300 miles.

I'm a technician at an Acura dealership and can say from much experience that the rear wheel bearings are a weak link on Acura RDXs and MDXs. Particularly if they carry a load a lot, such as passengers or luggage or what ever.

That's great to hear.... *sigh*

Been a while since I signed in...to answer the question, no I'm normally alone and I only haul a 75 lb dog occasionally. I still think the bad shock in the same position hammered it to death.

Going in for a B-123 service tomorrow, have just under 30,000 miles. Last couple of weeks started to notice road noise (my wife mentioned it to me as well), definitely sounds like a bad wheel bearing. Guess what they will be taking a look at tomorrow.

I have a 2014 RDX purchased last November with only 10K. Noise at 30 mile+ and not smooth brake. Sent to the dealer. Left wheel bearing damaged. The dealer had to order the part and asked me to continue driving the car. I only drive the car to and back from work, highway and local, never a rough surface or hit anything. Wheel bearing issue at 10K? Unbelievable. This is my first Acura and all my previous cars are Toyota or Honda, never had any issue like this. Will avoid Acura for sure in the future.

My wife's 2014 RDX AWD/Tech with 14k miles just started having a problem today. Very faint chirp in time with the revoution of the wheels. Sounds like it's coming from the rear. Can hear it when coasting, engine noise drowns it out when accelerating. Bearing problem makes sense. Going to dealer tomorrow, will advise what they find.
