Although the luxury market for Front wheel drive coupe's is small....I would argue that Acura could reinvigorate the segment and grow it, if they made a coupe version of the TL. Remember the Acura 95 Acura Legend?

If the TL coupe was offered, would you buy one?

Yes. Just looked at that concept from 2010 or w.e. I kinda like it.

I probably wouldn't. I bought my TL because it is a somewhat sporty 4 door.

The closest you will get to a two-door TL is the Accord Coupe. Just swap out the emblems for some TL ones and you're good to go

KIDDING. Seriously people, don't do that.

^^ Seen that, and last week I saw a silver 04 or 05 TL, bone stock with a type S badge on the back.

But, back to the topic, if I wanted a 2-dr I'd buy an RSX-S or an NSX. I would not buy a TL coupe, because the sport sedan is a style the TL pulls off exceedingly well. Not to mention it's exactly what I wanted in a car.

Hell no, I wouldn't buy the TL coupe, the reason why the Legend does good with sale in the Coupe because at the time there is no competition in the luxury sport Coupe realm, 91-95 BMW has M3 coupe as sport, 3 series coupe has nothing special in feature and the 840/850i is way too expensive. Mercedes coupe looks like crap from those years, Lexus has the SC but it was big and bulky, Nissan only has 240 SX which didn't even has turbo and 300ZX is their super sport coupe. The Legend coupe fall between sport and luxury where it offer in 1993 Acura LS coupe feature TCS (Taction Control System), Type II motor rate 230HP 201TQ, automatic climate control, heated seat, 6spd MT (not too many car maker has except for Toyota Supra TT, BMW 8 series), memory seat, heated mirror, audio steering wheel control, 6 disc CD changer, 225 watt Bose premium stereo with tweeter, leather cover ceiling, power telescoping steering wheel, full size spare tire, power everything. In Japan they even offer Honda first Navigation system, bumper pole, DLR, rear reclining seat. I mean the technology was way ahead of it rival within the class, even by today standard it will put most of the car into shame. I mean it only missing ventilated seat, MID, surround sound system, side curtain airbag and TPMS it will even beat our TL in technology category and this was done 18 years ago. But today there is too many car maker has coupe that feature power and tech such as G37 Coupe, BMW 335i coupe, Hyundai Genesis coupe etc..... and I think the TL wouldn't stand a chance for being SOCH engine produce the least HP exchange for MPG, no OMG ground breaking techs and yet it quite expensive.

My first thought is "no" but its hard to imagine what a TL coupe would be like. For example a Genesis Coupe vs a Genesis Sedan are 2 different animals. Like TOTALLY Different. I do think Acura needs to produce a sport model, but a TL sport couple? I think it would be better if they did not try to recreate the TL, instead give us a revamped NSX. That would be interesting to see. An affordable NSX

I've heard they are actually making a TL Coupe in the near future. Would I buy it..probably not. IMO Acura does need to come out with a sporty coupe though. They haven't had a sport coupe since 06 with the RSX, which I really liked.

There was another pic of a TL, it's silver and it's a complete side shot, doesn't have the hideous body kit on it either.

That photoshop is useless since coupes generally don't look exactly like the sedan, minus the 2 doors :P.

NSX will never be affordable for average person like most of us because Honda want the NSX to compete with Nissan GT-R and Lexus LF-A where the GT-R price tag already sneaking near $100k that is some serious mortgage's money right there for an average house.

^This. My old car was a coupe. I much prefer the practicality of a sedan.

Plus, sedans have a bit of a sleeper status too, which I like. The average person who knows little to nothing about cars looks at a 4 door sedan and automatically think "slow". These same people look at any 2 door coupe and automatically think "sports car", even if it's something like a Kia Forte.

KIDDING. Seriously people, don't do that.
^Also this (except the emblem swapping part of course). You can option out an Accord coupe to nearly match the equipment level of a TL (EX-L V6 navi), so a TL coupe seems a bit redundant.

It's more of the styling of the car rather than the performance. Plus I see freaking TLs everywhere, and I rarely see a CL, and I have only seen 3 modified CLs (Not including mine). When it comes to a performance vehicle, AWD or GTFO!

2G CL-S > 3G TL

I miss mine terribly and regret making the switch.
