Window Visors (OEM vs Aftermarket)
I'm thinking about getting window visors to my car.
Is OEM honestly the best out there for my vehicle or are there other brands that are just as great.
I've been thinking of

Any suggestions? Is it expensive or easy to install?

Window visors were cool maybe in 1999..or wait they werent even cool then. I still dont understand why all these guys like to put them on their TL's. They looks sooo gross. I know I didnt contribute anything to this post but I just cant figure out what people like about window visors lol.

You're going to want OEM. I had weathertech visors on my RSX-S before...granted it look kind of nice but the problem i had was the windows rolling up. With the one touch window up thingy (don't know the technical name), the window would always hit the visor then roll back down. That is because non-oem visors slips into the door jam rather than being clipped from the outside like OEM.
Also, non-OEM visors for the TL look like crap for the rear windows....just my

Thats exactly what I thought to. I think window visors were for smokers and nothing more. I mean they dont look cool so I dunno. Maybe cars that dont have a/c so they can crack the windows when its raining? lol

It amazes me how many people here have them on their cars and love them. I'm obviously not a fan, but to each their own.

I have the Weather Tech visors---I got a great deal in the BM on them. I am a smoker and got tired of the water running in my car with the window cracked.
For comparison:
I will be looking for OEM once the funds are available---they look much cleaner IMO.

Agree. No visors for me. I've seen a couple with them and they just look tacky. But I guess that is the look some folks like.

OEM Visors for sure. I am not a smoker but I usually have my windows cracked open whenever I drive. Can't do that in the rain without water running in, so that's what the visors are for.

If you live on the coast and get Rain all the time like we do here you would like them. I dont smoke, but still like my windows cracked for fresh air.

Anyway, it's your car, if you like the way it looks that's all that matters!

Three of those are actually useful though.... But I see a lot of people who have roof racks but never use them. lol I was just thinking the other day how ridiculous that is.
But on topic, definitely OEM. The aftermarket ones don't go across the little window on the rear door. It looks kind of weird.

Spoilers add a sporty touch, which is always nice. Especially on a hatchback. Unfortunately the so-called "trend setters" have even managed to screw that up. Just wait till the next generation of TL kids start putting these on the TL too. Can you say "air-brake"?
