I had read on here somewhere that the rear visor had sagging problems..?
Is the visor you all are getting a new version? Any "no sagging" guaranties from HIC?
Cuz I definitely want one but I'd hate for it to start sagging

You will be sag free, my friend.
This is a new version and THEY followed up with me almost a year later to get me the new product after having 2 prior ones sag. NOBODY does business like these people...buy with confidence.

These visors are their redesigned versions hence the "Version 2" in the description!

LOL... just bustin your chops bro, but it's absolutely sag free from what I have been told coming directly from their customer service team after they had numerous complaints from their initial product release.

Just ordered my H.I.C. Rear visor thanks to this thread. I haven't even heard of the company beforehand. But seems like a reliable business to buy from according to everyone that's chimed in. I liked the way it looks compared to anything, anywhere else, especially eBay.

I kinda figured that's what it meant but I just like being a noob LOL
Anyway thanks for putting my mind to ease on the sagging issue will definitely be picking one up soon seeing how well it flows with the cars lines and it goes so great with the OEM/HIC window visors!

What are people doing for the sun/moon roof visors brand wise (OEM, aftermarket, etc.)? Also, what's your take (useful, more for aesthetics, visor overkill, etc.)?

Well mine came with the car and I have been debating on whether or not I should take it off or leave it on. I get what you mean tho as far as "visor overkill" which is why I tend to want to remove it at times.

I'd be VERY curious to know how they hold up in 2 years from now as far as UV fade. OEM doesn't do well at all, considering the cost.

I've had the HIC window visors on my car for about 3 months now and so far they've held up great. They just made it through a 3rd car wash the other day.. No complaints here

that's a placeholder, I'm pretty sure...they drop the price to normal when in stock so they stay visible on ebay.

but its in stock now with more than 10 available.. im pretty sure it was a place holder a few months ago when they had the price at $500 for the same visor but then they lowered it to $189 which is still more than x2 the original price they had it at

Right now the side window visors are out of stock again.

I sent them an email last night and within 12 hours they replied and said they will be back in stock by the end of the month.

I might email them again and see if I can just place an order. The rear visor is at $99 and in stock currently.

BEWARE LOTS OF PHOTOS

I've had these installed since May 31 a few weeks ago. There are no clips like the OEM visors so if anyone doesn't like the idea of 1/4" 3M tape holding these onto their doors they should look elsewhere. Otherwise, they are great quality and have held up very well. Car washes, I wash by hand, should have extra care taken while performing. I would probably stray away from automatic washes with their cyclone-like brushes.

The package they came in left A LOT to be desired. There was NO peanuts or bubble wrapping and the box was over sized...thank goodness they weren't damaged while shipping.

Below are front and rear side views

Below are views to show how low-profile they are

Below are views from interior front driver side and interior rear driver side to show how they look inside. It's currently 82F and sunny out in New England.

Below is a pic to show how the fronts intersect with the side mirrors, there is foam on the back so that your paint doesn't scratch. I do wish that they were able to tuck behind the side mirror pillars like the OEM ones but for $49.95 I can deal.

Below is a pic showing where they intersect on each door. Also shown is the logo, I don't know why people want to rub it off, I personally think it looks nice. My only critique with it is that there isn't a matching logo embossed on the rear visor to match so it does look a little weird.

I've had mine for about 6-7 weeks now and i couldn't be happier. I've even had someone with OEM visors say he may switch to these because his were faded after only a year or so. And the rear visor has gotten even more attention and compliments, as most people around my way have the cheap Ebay rear visors

I got my set back in June of this year. I installed them and I have had no complaints since. I really like the fact that they are low profile and provide quite a bit of coverage down the windows. It definitely provides a lot of sun blockage and rain coverage.

Here's an interior shot of the driver side window:

Bumping an old thread here... How do you guys feel about the Carbon Fiber option?

Also, does anyone have any ridiculous scratching/swirling with the glossy black version? I'd be curious to see how they've held up over the past year or two.

I have the matte carbon fiber one for about 3 years now, no sagging, a little faded from this south Florida sun, but a little back to black and itís like new. I like it and will buy again. If they had a gloss I will get that too. Great look .
