Window visors from H.I.C USA
#41
Hey everyone,
Been contemplating purchasing these visors from H.I.C.
I know many members have bought the rear window spoiler with awesome results.
Just wondering if anyone has bought and installed these and how they are?
Thanks in advance

There are pics in the link MonkeyTrucker provided, but here are some from member ebelp:
Sorry guys...wtf, I'm so lame. I did retire my painted ebay roof spoiler and went with something a little different:
So far I really like it...wasn't sure how I felt about it not being painted, but it's smoked acrylic, so it matches/flows perfectly with the OEM window visors. The black keeps it subtle because it blends with the rear windshield, but from other angles it looks pretty aggressive.

Sorry to those who have been waiting for update on pics. I have had these installed for a couple weeks now. There are awesome. Perfect fit and really really sturdy! I mean the 3M tape on these is ridiculously sticky. I haven't posted pics because I work shift work and it gets dark here by the time I get off work and I leave super early for work as well. I will try to get pics on here tom, if not, in the next few days for sure.........then again I said that almost a month ago lol!
For those who are contemplating this purchase, go for it! You will be pleased with fitment and quality. Now I just hope the rear visor is just as nice!

Yeah, I'll be driving down to KB and spend a few weeks to try and escape as much of the cold I can. But yeah, I usually stock up on stuff when going to US and really fill up my trunk when I drive and not fly.

I just received the rear today, will install in a bit.

Well, after reading the instructions and the recommended temps being 70 degrees, guess I'll have to ponder on a method to incubate a heater with a tarp or something over the rear of the car so I can install mine.

LOL...no, but I have had multiple roof spoilers and a trunk spoiler held on with double sided tape with no issues. DO use the adhesion promoter though...I didn't use it the first time and it was pretty easy to pull off...the 2nd time I did and the tape was really on the glass really strong.

Really nice weather this weekend, in the 70s. Got to install this sooner than later .
Love it! Looks great with the other OEM visors!
Didn't get a chance to clean the car, but I did clean the wheels in the last pic, sun was going down though.

Good shit, MT...
Appears to be a little thicker, so you don't have to bow it down on the sides to ensure the middle stays erect.
I followed all instructions...put down the adhesion promoter...waited...added the tape and pressed down for a ridiculous amount of time and avoided rain and washing my car today.
Looks awesome.
