ive had both 3m tints and global...i actually like the global one better but theyre both real similar...

first time i got my tl tinted was with 3m but without mol skin...window tints got scratched up like no other

then i got 3m 15% with mol skin but kept getting pulled over lol

now i have 5% global on the back windshield and 35% on the 4 windows

getting suntek brand tint installed this thurs. thking about going 26% all around for 180 bucks which includes moleskin and lifetime guarantee. base on what i seen and heard on this thread, the suntek isnt as dark as some of the other brands like Llumar film and i have the parchment interior. was planning on getting 35% to stay legal with the system...but that might be just a little too light over a tan interior?? whats your input guys?

Film can either reflect light (metallic) or absorb light (ceramic). The metallic/reflective films will appear lighter than the ceramic/absorbing films for a particular tint %. i.e. 10% ceramic looks darker than 10% metallic.

Global film hands down

I know this is an old thread so excuse me for pulling it back up however I seen so many comments about people saying 5 he never heard of global film?

I have used just about all the name brand films on the market such as Llumar, Solargaurd, Suntek, Sunguard, 3M, and now global. I have been tin to n windows going on 13 years now and I've been using Global for the past 6 years or so global ceramic quick dry plus is prob the best film you are going to find because it is so giving and thick. It's really hard to crease and it's an all around wonderful film.

3M film is garbage and super thin and it's just a pain in the ass to use I will never use it again even I it was Givin to me and a lot of customers who do there research ask for 3M but fail to realize it sucks. With global film we offer a lifetime warrant as long as the customer still own their vehicle, house or commercial building.

Go with global you will not be disappointed guaranteed
