Will 08 base model seats be a direct swap on my 05
 

So my passenger seat has a small tear in the leather and its already got a hack job repair from the previous owner, so I'm looking to get it fixed. I found a pick and pull that has a 2008 TL base model and its grey interior so I was gonna grab the seat and install it in mine. Would the 08 seat be a direct bolt in and hook up right with my 05?

I dont wanna sound like an ass....... BUT......

I did a google search and everything I seen was about TL-S seats and then ads for leather replacement. Also used the Ctrl+F to search and didn't come up with anything, also your link for searching didn't show what I was asking for. First link was for RL/TSX/MDX, the next link is CL to TL, then its TL-S into a base model.

The 08 should bolt directly to your 05, however the airbag connector probably different. One thing I do know that for sure that when you install the new seat you will need a HDS to calibrate the new airbag.

BTW 07-08 Base TL only come in 3 interior colors either Ebony, Taupe or Beige (like Taupe but darker in tan color) so if you have Quartz interior then it wouldn't match.
