Umm, post pictures of that gem. One owner with 42K? Hopefully, your father took care of it after all these years.
In March 2015, I bought my 2005 AT from a one-owner lawyer with around 111,000 miles. His practice was just down the road from the Acura dealership and he took it there for every single thing he had done (oil changes and all). I know have 137,000 miles.

Original owner here...05 6MT...only 59k miles. 1st TB job was finally done this year (due to age). Also found out that I have an AC leak which is being monitored (ie...waiting for the AC (freon) to leak again and spit the dye back out). My TL sleeps a lot. Still a thrill to row the gears when I get her out to stretch her legs.

Just bought a well taken-care-of silver '06 TL with 218,000 miles on it. All service was done at the Acura dealer, no issues or codes. Body is in overall good condition for being well over 200k, and I only paid just north of $3k for it!

Tempted to look at a a 07 Type S with around 240,000 km. Price around $7,500 Cdn. There is also one white one with 155,000 km for $10,500 Cdn. As long as regular maintenance is done they should be fine?

240k is high, especially for that price.
I sold my base 07, with 189 on it for 8500. I also had done all maintenance items and babied it.
Price was a bit lower than I could have got, but its staying in the family.
depending on where your located, the market value may be higher, but a car at 240, regardless of condition, is not worth 7500 IMO.

Bought car in December of 2013 with 56k miles. Now I have 188k miles. It's a 2007 Base model and still going strong. I've done all the maintenance on it and best of all, it's PAID off!!! I'll be keeping the car for at least another 2 years or until I hit 300k if I dont get a new car itch before then

you've waited 224,000 miles to do it....why bother now lol

2006 TL auto. 155,00 KM (96,875 miles). Rear main seal was leaking last year, so had that done along with the timing belt and water pump at the same time. Other than that no major issues. Car went into limp mode the other day, but has been okay since then. If it happens again I'll replace the APP sensor.

only at 124k miles, just got a fresh batch of wheels and painting the calipers for the 4th time for a new look (yellow calipers on wdp, currently have teal and in the past black and white).
next up, brake fluid flush and do a ps pump rebuild on it (already have all oem parts to do it).
last week i had a company do an ozone generator in my car to get rid of a mild musty/moldy smell that i could not get rid of with other tricks (it was only a light smell when AC was on but enough to bother me).

Just crossed 201K on the WDP and averaging 28MPG.

2006 TL Auto at 99980 as of this post. I'm the second owner, only had to replace the alternator so far. Doing 3x3 tranny flush soon along with new pressure switches. My last car was an Evo IX which I sadly had to flip on it's side on a fateful rainy day. I plan on keeping this TL for at least another 100k miles so I can take my time looking for a decent S2000.

That's miles, not KMs. Still original clutch, no oil added between oil changes

Nope. Had a rear main seal leak after the power steering TSB was done, but it fixed itself.
BTW, 2004 6MT, original owner. Bought it on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, 2003...

168k on the Comptech TL
Bought this one at 74k miles, have done pressure switches, 3x3 every 25k miles and oil changes using Mobil1 full synthetic dw0-20 every 3.5k miles.
Comptech S/C I’m since 158k, original 5AT Transmission(running strong).

Which one I am talking about lol.
07 TL-S (bought at 60k miles back in 2011) now has 122k miles, no major issue except for the steering rack leak which I already replace around 105k miles.
07 TL bought at 74k miles now has 80k miles nothing wrong except for the oil pump dripping.
08 TL bought at 48k miles now has 60k, still has the new car smell.
RL bought at 113 now has 124, no major issue except the rear main seal starting to leak and decide to fix itself.

Oh Wow, that is so cool man!!
Are you able to pick up the subtle nuances and characteristics between each car? Does each one drive differently, though it’s the same one?

Yes, I will be doing a 3 side by side review soon. However the RL has the nicest built quality and interior fit and finish compare to TL.
