what is wrong with these caliper sliding pins?

The sliding pin nut is thicker than the other on the after market caliper? The OE caliper sliding pin look identical.

They should both be identical, my guess is that it's just an error by someone at the reman factory and made its way past QC.

GOOD NEWS though! You didn't install it yet, return it for a new one

ok. I just removed the sliding pins and reused the old sliding pins on the new caliper. The old sliding pins are still good and fit perfectly .

^This. My nuts are different sizes as well, but they still get the job done.

your aftermarket caliper from cardone has the same issue but it work ok?

More like one dangles a little lower than the other due to the size/weight differences.
