My TL used to be "the Acura," as my other car is an RX-7 that was, and is, called "the Mazda." Simple enough to distinguish. But then I got married and my wife has an RSX, so now mine is "the TL" and hers is "your car" (or "the RSX" if I'm not talking to her), as "the Acura" is too vague when you have two of them in the household.

Very creative, I know.

I personally think the name for a car thing is kind of corny, but I have three things I typically call my car. "The S", "The Type S", or "The Acura". My two year old daughter calls it "Daddy's red car":-)
