lockdots-if you're still covered under warranty...you should be good to go. no warranty...you would have less of a chance of getting it covered. mileage also counts as well. low mileage = more life left in the car. of course acura doesn't have ANY idea how well kept my TL is compared to the others out on the road.

Night and Day
apologized to it.
I won't be driving it until next year. I am leaving in a little over a month and will be gone until at least January. He needs new tires all around and an alignment and a 105k service (new timing belt/water pump...yadda yadda) but I'm not going to have money for that until I get back.
In the garage he goes soon, with the occasional drive up and down the street :/
But hey! At least this gives me the opportunity to drive my supra a little more...which, among many other things, is also ready for a new timing belt...but at least it's a non interference belt if it does snap while I'm driving!
Tires are good though!!

I'm liking the silver Brembo's.

:what:
I did the stock cold air mod (delete resonator and relocate the velocity stack) and the mid-muffler delete. I LOVE the new sound of the car!! Seems the throttle response has pepped up a bit too.

Installed ASPEC front lip but the accord fog bezels (someone else installed the fogs for me last year based on a fellow AZiner's recommendation) were in the way of the lip seating correctly -
It took a while to find some courage, but I borrowed a friend's dremel and shaved off a radius that matched the fog housing. First dremel project and the results look OK to me.

50/50 color matched my mirrors to match wheels. Plastidip as my base so I can revert once I get bored with it lol. Want to do the back side of my rear view mirror like Mugen Fit has it. Maybe over the weekend break.

Took apart my car to add some better mood lighting under the dash and seats. Also started to take the doors off to add some ambient lighting in the door handles (interior and exterior). Also adding some dim cupholder LEDs and makin my own LED boards for the dome/map/etc lights. Also started to modify the MediaBridge install to customize it to work my car since the Tech Package makes it incompatible.

Now that's school's done for a few weeks I was able to get started on my "mood lighting" project. Instead of buying LED strips or neon tubes I took spare parts I had laying around and made some under-dash lighting for $0
I wired 3 blue LEDs in series with each other and connected them in parallel with the stock LED to keep the current draw low. My goal was to add to the glow keeping it close to "oem" with a low current draw. Instead of simplying adding LEDs to the underdash panels I first frosted them by sanding them with 1000 grit and used the same sandpaper to flatten the tops. The flat top helps to eliminate hot spots and frosting them helps diffuse the light better. I think I succeeded
This first picture is with the Driver side unmodified and the passenger side with what I did for comparison.
Second picture is to show what it looks like when you're stepping in from the passenger side. The picture makes it look way more overpowering than it really is. I have since added a larger resistor to turn the brightness down just a bit.
This last picture I took further away to show the brightness in comparison to the other lights in and outside of the car for a better comparison.
Comments and criticism are always welcome
