What bulbs do you use?

Hey I need to replace my fog lights and I was wondering what bulb I should be looking for. I know there are bulbs that generally fit most cars, but obviously it isn’t the case for all cars. I remember H11 was a popular one, but can anyone tell me what FOG light bulb they use? I prefer mine to be yellow... is it the H8? Thanks!! My headlights are awesome but im open for suggestions, I saw someone instal jewel headlights and they were pretty cool.

H8 and H11 is the same lol, I know because my RL use H11 and the TL use H8. They are interchangeable. As far as the bulb for fog light goes I use LED, they are bright and not blind incoming traffic.

For headlight I use Osram CBI in the RL and other TL, in my TL-S I use Osram CBB and I have to say its a huge upgrade from the factory bulbs, as far as jewel headlight retrofit save your money and mod your projector with legit KWS clear lens along with bulbs I mention above.

x2 on LED H11s. They are the next best thing to HIDs and runs cooler that you don't have to worry a bout melting the foglights housing. There are literally hundreds of LED bulbs on Amazon. I went with these and I am happy with the purchase.

Optilux Extreme Yellow XY HB4 9006

As the name suggests, they are very yellow. Got them mostly to create contrast against my headlights so hopefully other drivers will notice me more in inclement weather. Love the color.

How many lumens? They got them as high as 8400 lumens!

If memory serves right, standard 100W light bulb produces like 1500 lumens. Your leds might be bright, but I doubt they come close to 8400.
You can even get 97500 lumen ones, that take about 650W of power

OP: I've been using some $20 Amazon LEDs for almost 2 years and they still work just fine. Remember to not go crazy on brightness as you don't want to blind people, otherwise just pick anything, as fog light are not that important anyways.

Can't recall on top of my head but my is Flux Beam X which was their brightest bulb.

OSRAM-CBH, the successor of the CBI. They are 6k bulbs and pretty darn bright. I've used the OEM Philips bulbs brand new and these are noticeably brighter. CBH have been replaced by the CBA, which I may consider. Pricey.

Thanks guys. My local dealer carries the h11 sylviana yellow bulbs. Those should do the job for me, thanks for the input

Sure thing, I actually didn’t check amazon as yet so I’m going to do that, thanks to anyone that reminded me of that. Seems that they have better deals on there than the local shops any how

Note that halogen H8 and H11 are different wattage....H11 in theory will be hotter since it is spec'd at 55W instead of 35W. No idea if the TL fog lamps handle the extra heat well or not.

Can you please clarify your question? I'm not understanding what you're trying to ask..

headlights are HID, tailights are LED, DRL halogen, the rest are incandescent

Is that what you're asking..?

What light is installed in the headlights in the factory?
Gologen and fog correctly I understand?
