Way to Disable Beeping from leaving Headlights on?
Is there a way to get rid of this beeping?
Maybe pull a fuse or unplug the speaker that makes the noise?
I leave the headlights on all the time and hate the beeping when Im getting in and out of the car.
Thank you!

Stop making sense.
Dude needs his headlights on all the time because .... uhhhh ....., yeah, why do you need your headlights on all the time?
You can check fuse locations in the OM. Speaker is a nice idea, but I think (not sure though) it chimes through the front center channel speaker.

I have an '04 and I leave my lights on all the time. They go off when you lock the car, or about 1 minute after you get out, so I see no need to turn them off manually. The beeping is a little annoying, but you get used to it. It beeps out of the center speaker so not sure how you could stop that.

I'm sure there's a way to do this, but I'm not so sure without loosing some important features.
This is directly linked to the drivers door. I'm also leaving my headlights opened all the time like 100% and when I open my door to leave or to get in it beeps, but hey for how long you need to stay the DOOR OPEN, headlights on ??? about 10 seconds or so ??? lol
This isnt a 1990 civic which you can simply unplug the wire, I guess you're gonna have to live with the 10 second bip like me LOL

Another workaround could be to leave your lights on auto, but cover the light sensor on your dash so the lights are always on. Then set the driver option to leave the headlights on for (as long as possible according to the keyless setting, not sure what it is because I have my headlights shut off when I turn off the car). Although that may already be set.

Guys I think the OP wants to know if he does what I do all the time- at night time you can leave your lights on when you get out of the car and press the lock button twice and the lights will shut off. Then when you press unlock, they flash back on. An awesome feature that I love and use every time I get out of the car in the dark.
I too would like to know how to disable this beeping. I don't think it's sent through the center channel speaker; it sounds like it comes from behind or under the speedometer almost. At least it sounds like it. It's annoying as crap though.

From what I've read, the small CPU where the chime comes from also controls the seatbelt chime, parking brake chime etc. So by disabling that CPU you would lose all notification sounds? And probably have major electrical malfunctions lol

I'm kinda slow to respond, but yeah I have an '08.
Looking at the above thread, imageshack won't load the zoomed in version of the third picture for me for some reason (the one that shows what each pin on each connector does). If there's one for the audio signal, cutting it might do it, but as stated above, it looks like you'd lose all other notifications. Maybe if you added a relay so the connection is closed while the car is on, but open when the car is off... you'd disable the sound whenever the key was removed but retain it for notifications while driving.
Anyway these are just ideas that someone with more knowledge could run with... since it would disable all of the sounds, I don't know if this falls into the 'unsafe category' that disabling the seatbelt chime falls into (threads on that topic are always closed as it turns into a debate, is unsafe to do, and isn't doable for just that notification sound anyway). Adding a relay to that connection so that the notification sounds work while the car is on could feasibly work as far as safety, assuming the relay doesn't fail over time, etc.
That, and this is a lot of conjecture over a diagram in which I can't even read to see if there's an audio-out signal that you could interrupt in the first place. And if there is, how unhappy is the control module going to be if it detects a break in that circuit?

I'm sorry but I didn't know it was so hard to turn on and off the headlights.
Don't like the beeping? Take an extra half of a second to turn the knob and it will stop.

Don't know how to fix it but you could open your door and find where the beeping is coming from... then from there see is there is something you could cut or unplug to rid of it.
Me though... I just turn the knob to turn the lights off. That always stops that problem dead in it's tracks.

I hate to see the sarcastic and worthless responses in here. However, I don't understand why you left saying:
Then came back months later and you're just asking the same question again. What happened to getting an electrical diagram and tackling it?

It'd be a nice feature to have for those of us who actually know when our headlights are on, or when our key is in the ignition, etc...

I don't really see the problem here He's taking advantage of one of the car's features.
