Warning/Alert Light Help

Since I don't have a manual I was wondering if anyone knew what the light is at the lower left part of the far left hand gauge thats a triangle with what looks like an exclamation point inside of it is. The light is no longer on but came on yesterday for a short while. Hope this explains it sufficiently enough.

I believe what u are referring to is called VSA (Vehicle stability assist) which will blink when you press the gas pedal and tries spin, basically it limits the power so you dont sit there and keep spinning like in snow or rain when you take off from a stop.

You can also turn it off by pressing the VSA button which is to the left off your side mirrors control, i believe its at the same location for TL and TL type S.

No its a yellow triangle on the left lower part of the rpm gauge just below and to the right of 0 rpm. It has an upside down exclamation point inside. Maybe this helps

I was on the Interstate when it came on.

I think the light you're talking about is the one telling you your tire pressure is low. Check that.

That is the VSA system light. If you press the button to the left of the steering colum, the light should light up to show the system is off. Also when your tires loose traction or the car is not turning/moving as it should (skidding or sliding)

OK sorry maybe I accidently hit it while driving. Just didn't think it would be that since it stayed on and driving on the interstate. I was a bit foggy from the previous night...lol.

The triangle is right side up but the symbol looks like a upside down exclamation point to me anyways.

If just the triangle symbol on the instrument panel came on steady, then you inadvertently switched VSA off. The light in the VSA switch should also be on if this is the case.

If the rectangle with "VSA" letters inside it came on along with the triangle, then you have/had a VSA system problem.

If the triangle symbol flashed/es, then that means that your VSA system has been engaged due to road/driving conditions.

All this information is readily available in a rarely used/read booklet that came with the car: the owner's manual.
