Worth it if you're looking to replace tower LEDs. These are the best bulbs you can buy now. I have them for my rear turn signals.

Absolutely worth it!!!! If you haven't seen my thread with pictures of these in my 08 Type S check it out. They make look tower LED's look like a joke (which for the most part they are in any sort of light conditions).
Very high quality product and they are well worth the price.
Ofcourse im a little pissed I paid full price for these only to find out now they are offering 20% off lol. Oh well whatever im just happy someone finally came out with a plug and play LED system that works, and works damn well. I love seeing my LED turns flash instant on and off reflecting on every sign in site at night. Looks awesome!

Your gonna love these LED's! Let me know if you need a hand installing them as I did it on my 08 type s several weeks ago and I had to make a custom spacer for the fronts to work correctly. I have the perfect thickness material to do it still. You may remember I met up with you years ago when I had my blue 07 type s.
Also, not sure if it was you but I passed a very clean NBP type s the other day in Plainfield (I was in my CBP S). It stood out because not many cars are so clean in this cold and salty road Chicago weather. It looked awesome and thought maybe it was you.

and for anyone looking at switchbacks, the 5k are still on backorder until the end of the month. i've been waiting since i placed my order on dec. 17 haha

I'm just getting the front amber ones. My red rear tower ones are pretty bright but the amber front SUCK and $80 isn't too bad...
One question: anyone using these that has already done the resistor mod in the turn signal flasher module??? I hope it all works right when I put these in.

I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and buy some amber ones, I have my diffusor removed and some cheap chrome coated bulbs, plenty visable at night but during the day they suck. I thought about getting switch backs but I think it would look stupid unless I had white side markers and I'm gonna stick with my amber ones.

I do however hear people talk about using them in the locations you mention and they may work, but I dont think anyone has tried them in those spots yet.

Well typically these arent really intended for either of those and most on these forums use them for their sole purpose of turn signal/parking lamps/brake lamps. They replace bulbs such as 1157/7443/7440 etc etc

I PERSONALLY think its way too much for a dam light bulb. Yes I know its LED its look cool but our TL lense kinda mess up the good look of LED. They look cool in those found on Audi .

The turn signals for $80 aren't too much. I've already spent more than that trying to get ones that are bright and they still suck. Now can get bright ones on the first try and be done with it instead of buying pair after pair trying to get ones that are decent....

God damn these people at VLEDs. I saw their post on FB last night. "If we get 10k likes we'll make another coupon."
Guess I need to order something else.

Pretty sure they're right. I can confirm 7440 for the rear. I believe for the front that 07-08 is 1157. 04-06 is 7443.

I wouldnt say yikes to that. Here you spent under 200 bucks for a mod that not only looks amazing and is used all the time when driving, but is somewhat safety related as well. These lights are VERY bright and you can be sure the person behind or in front of you will see you signaling.
Not only that, but think of it this way. People on these forums easily will drop $450+ on a jpipe that you cant see, cant hear, and any performance increase is negligible at best. Or for those that will drop a grand on coil overs, or 2 plus grand on wheels. I wouldnt be too upset about spending 180 bucks on a set of high quality lights. I wasnt

Another great thing about these bulbs; if you move to another car, you only need to buy the part that plugs into the connector (couple bucks) and you have these bulbs in your new car!

Damn... no free shipping to us Northerners.
Nonetheless, 5 bucks regular ship/15 expedited. bulbs were 65 after the discount...
70 bucks for 2 bulbs. I paid nearly 100 bucks for my autolumination bulbs.

Damn I ordered like 2 days ago with 20% off now it's 35%. If they're offering that much off a new product I'd have to imagine the price is gonna drop if they're marking them up that much, or somebody else is about to come out with something similar or better. Maybe I'll email and ask for the 15%.... or order a set for the rear I was more concerned about the front.

They canceled my order and I reordered with the 20% off. I wonder if they'll do the 35% even though they've already shipped that order.

Its 35% off now?????? Damn, now im kinda pissed I bought my V3's at full price. That would have been $77.00 off my full price of $220 for front/rear LED's and V3 resistors. errrrrrr

Has it been 30 days yet? It says they take returns with a 15% restock fee, so you could order today, send the originals back and still get 20% off...

i cancelled my backorder of 5k switchbacks and CLS module that i paid 120 for 5 weeks ago, and they told me that if I repurchased with the new code my spot in line would be reset. so i cancelled my order since i can wait one more month and re-ordered the same plus added their new DRL 5k bulbs which are backordered until end of Feb. So hopefully i will get both sets by March at the same time. and it only cost me 145 instead of 220.
