TL Type S seats in Lexus IS250?
thinking about putting type s seats in my beater 2006 lexus is250? would this be an extensive project or would it be somewhat of a bolt on? any feedback is welcomed

There's a lot of backstory jokes going on in here... pay no attention to us.
But yeah, why you'd want Type S seats in your IS is beyond me. It'll take some custom work as I'm sure the seat rails wont work, and the seats themselves might be too wide. Then you have to splice the electrical connectors, depending if your IS has side airbags on the seats or not. The Type S does, and I'm wiling to bet that even for the heat functions, neither of the connectors are the same.
Don't waste your money. It'll look pretty dumb to have "Type S" embossed on the headrest of your IS.
