Swapping interior on an 08 Acura TL?

Hi, before I start I know it would be a pain and very likely not worth my time but I have a good opportunity here so thinking about it.

i have an 08 TL Beige interior, I’m able to get my hands on a black interior from an 06... seats and carpet. Wondering if anybody knows how big of a job and pain in the @$$ It would be?

If you’ve done it before, how long did it take you and what things should I be watching out for. IE. carpet placement on the driver front side etc... Thanks for your time.

its time consuming, on a Type S it can be done around 10-12 hours with 2 peoples. on the base it will be much more.

I have done this and it's not that big of a job at all. If you're only going to do the seats and carpet, you should be able to swap it out in a couple of hours. Check out my interior swap.

You'll run into problems with the SRS light I believe since they changed the way how the SRS communicates between those years.

Oh wow Roadstar, your TL looks so clean... or maybe your son’s by now.

Ya dang it seems like it’s a really big job, too much for my appetite unfortunately.

It should be about 3 hours or less for Carpet and seats. If you’ve done it before, no more than 45 minutes.

Well, it wouldn't be that bad... Remove seats, side trim, console, carpet, lower dash, door panels and finally, the headliner. Reinstall in reverse order...

Once you get rolling it won't be so bad... It's not a dirty job, atleast... Unless you find unmentionables under the seats

He only mentioned swapping seats and carpet. Entire interior would take around three hours if you know what your doing.

I assume he's not swapping the interior to change colors, then.

Is this avoidable? I had this issue with my 04 accord. I'm looking to do this swap out this spring/summer and wanna do this the correct way!
