Supa Kewl: Door Edge Guards and Body Side Moldings
These two accessories are a must-have for any TL owner. If you're new to the forum, really consider these for your new automobile.
You'll love them.

Thank you very much, sir. I was not aware that such nice things were available. So you must have them installed on your personal TL, then how do you like the looks of these things? I hesitate to spoil the pristine lines of my new white TL, but will go by your recommendation.

The Door Edge Guards are where you would expect them- on every door crease. I've put a pin-stripe on them. Yellow, so it goes really nicely with the chrome and the Anthracite.
Try them. They're supa kewl.

uuuugggghhhhhh. The BSM and spoiler clutter the clean lines of the TL. I love the smooth wedge-like profile of this car. The BSM draws the eyes down and away from this beautiful shape.
The door edge trim are color matched and barely visible...a worthwhile investment to protect the chip-prone edges.

From what I've read of your posts in the last several months, bolt, I was confident you wanted to fill the groove in the side of the TL with your own attached body molding. Adding the BSM parallel lines I would imagine would intensify the attraction for you, no?

Burning Brakes
I originally ordered mine with the molding, but the dipschnitts at Acura/Athens forgot to put them on, so I got my money back.
I think on the Abyss they won't be as stark, tho I do like them.

BJ................does JC Whitney carry the mouldings? I was looking at RS Strauss or Pep Boys (I love Manny, Moe, and Jack) for them. They did say that they could special order the one to fill in the groove. As far as door edge protection, the guy at Pep Boys, who I respect very much, recommended those big black soft rubber blocks. He said to put three on each door. What do you think??
