Sup guys I am seriously thinking about getting the 04 TL, but i would much rather get a type s version if it does come out. Does anyone know anythign about that. Also what would you guys do? Would it be a good idea to lease one of these bad asses until the type s version comes out? GOOD IDEA OR NO? Don't get me wronge hehe im still in love with my type s.

There will be no more Type-S's for Acura, but there will be a updated and better version of this TL 2-3 Years down the line..

I myself know this and am still buying the TL, Because if you wait something better will always come along, Like for the G35 buyers theres a AWD Version coming out in 2004..

I would recommend u at least lease the TL for now, or you might be waiting 2-5 years before a better Car comes out.. And that is if it is better..

Also if you got the money I would go for the RL..

And what is it that you would like to wait for a Type-S?

The new TL has more Power, More Torque, LSD, Brembos, Lowered, Stiffer Suspension, 18's, Electronic Brake Distribution, Bluetooth, DVD-A, 8 in Navi.. What really could they add to make it better.. Maybe AWD, but the price and weight would go up, but there isn't anything that would make me wait 2-5 years for a new car that might or might not come.. No one ever knows for sure if a new update will come, everyone has there guesses..

If you really want something more than what the 04TL offers, than you might have to look elsewhere..

I can gurantee you, that the handling and the ride of the new TL will be really nice and the power and features will WOW you for couple years to COME!

Acura will be offering improvements over the "base" TL, they are working on their own version of AMG/SVT/Motorsport for their product lines. It'll start out with suspension mods but will gradually offer transmission and engine upgrades as well. No timetable for this has been made public though.

Stuff that is practical in its Price Range, if this was a 40k car than I would agree, but Ventilated seats in a low range car?
