Called Burrard Acura yesterday - front OEM is discontinued in Canada..it's $650. Sides alone were $650 CDN and rears were another $860. INSANE!
Would've been interested but got mine 3 weeks ago from Bruce

Anyone else in the 604 interested? Might be able to get a better deal, provided we have more people in on the group buy.

sockr, I'd be curious to know how well the WDP matches up....I had my front bumper repainted a few years ago by a professional and the color is extremely close (although I think the color is off a bit from the rest of the car since sun, weather, etc. has faded my original body paint since I've purchased it back in '08). Keep me posted!

check out my progress thread for pics of the aspec kit. i went with the base lip on my type s since the color match is off. the color is off but i don't even notice it now (just like how the wdp rear bumper is an off white from factory), the kit added a great aggressive look to the car, i should have got it when i bought the car new!

Looks really nice! Would it look strange to just have the base lip while keeping everything else stock (side skirts, back bumper)?

I think that'll work well - OEM always looks good on Acura and the stock skirts are decent sized too.

SOCKR1 that makes me reconsider TLS A-Spec and the Base Lip... it's far cleaner. Decisions decisions...

you can get away with just the front lip. i even thought about doing that, but in all honesty put all the lips together and it makes a HUGE impact visually. you won't regret it. took me 8 years to pull the trigger and now i wish i did it on day 1.

yea i love how it turned out and it wasn't THAT hard. it was hard but that was because i did it all by myself! haha, if you have one other person it's much easier. if you ever need some tips let me know and i can help you out. if i got the front lip when i got the car i would have gone with the type s lip, but since my car is 8 years old the color was going to be slightly off and i wanted to minimize how much it stood out. if you have a darker car i would say get the type s lip. if a lighter color, the base is the way to go!

adding to the conversation i got mine from Bruce, decided it was time to get it done, I wish I had jumped on the kit earlier as they the whole kit cost was cheaper. I got mine $835 to my door, on Endless, they didn't have the NBP in Base Aspec Front Lip, so I ended going Type S front and rear -shipping was extremely quick, got mine from in about 4 days from order placement to delivery, downloaded the installation instructions from the Garage and installed myself, did the whole kit in about 2 hours. I ran into some problem getting the rear bumper off, in the fender well the the rear liner had some issues and had to deal with that lol...but after having the kit on now 4 months, i haven't had one issue.

Will it fit onto a 2007 Acura TL Base model or does it have to be on a TL-S?

Dammit...is this over?

Would love to be in on the next group buy - prices for the kit in Ontario are insane.

unfortunately youll have to drop the 1200 CAD or so to grab it from endless. No group buys in sight, and as aspec kits are becoming harder and harder to acquire, Id jump on it now.
Its expensive but if you have a shipping address for the US, you can save some money there.

TBH best money ive spent thus far on my car!

I'm in the same boat. I need the 04-06 NBP A-spec kit and am realizing that these are becoming harder and harder to come by. I'm debating on pulling the trigger. A group buy would be so ideal right now.

For real, Acura Canada is a no go...Some.of the aftermarket places are selling those cheap chinese body kits....I'd rather walk in some traffic than buy that shit!

Let's hope enough for us can maybe get a new group buy going ?

Ill keep looking in the meantime and if I find a good deal....Will definitely share it. Fingers crossed. Time to go hunting!

i got my kit at my local dealer for 770 before tax. he hooks me up with online prices all the time since i buy so many acura parts from him.

ask your local dealer if they will price match acuraoemparts, worst they say is no and you order from endlessrpm or heeltoe.

i highly doubt there will be another group buy on the kits.

most of the colors are sold out

This is exactly why I finally pulled the trigger and bought the full A-Spec kit for my TL because certain colors are starting to discontinue. Some members have bought the kit in a different color and went to a shop to get it paint matched to their car since that was the only way to go with the discontinued colors. I love the A-Spec kit! It changes the look of the TL a lot!!

Wow, saw this thread and I think I am also getting the kit, didn't know they are harder to come by now.

For a TL-S Silver, I am confused on what to get type s spec front or base aspect front. Does the dealers still get them as of now? (May 2017)

Just talked to my local Acura dealer and they told me these kits are getting harder to come by and the full kit is only available in White, mine is Silver. He is charging me $715 for the whole Aspec kit, good deal right? I am just debating now if to go with Aspec front or Base front, the base front looks more kind of like my style, the TypeS front is a little too much going on in my opinion.

Would this $715 be cheaper and have it painted to match my color or should I get from endless that is already painted?

I think I will have to jump on this and delay other things I have planned for my car. Can someone help for a Silver TL, go with Aspec type S or Aspec Base? I cannot make up my mind as I have not seen them in person to be honest. I think I saw one type S aspec around me but that was NBP color, they look good on black. Not sure how they will look on silver .

I am in montreal and got it shipped to freeportport fowarding for 865 US from endless rpm. Just had to pay taxes at canadian costom.

I also bought the license plate lights and no flickering hell yeah.
