I have a 2006 Acura TL with 136k miles on it. As the car is second hand, I'm not sure if the spark plugs have ever been replaced. Since it should not be that difficult to do, which spark plugs should I get? And just to be sure, I need 6 of them?

- Did timing belt, tensioner, and water pump was ever changed? If no then it should be your #1 priority.

- You should have V6 engine in your TL, so you need 6 spark plugs.

Look for NGK 6994 IZFR6K.

Thank you for the quick reply! Timing belt/tensioner and serpentine belt/tensioner were replaced. Transmission fluid was done. Dealer inspected water pump and reported it was fine.

What gap should the NGK 6994 IZFR6K plugs be set to and torque?

They come with right gap from the factory, you can measure it to make sure it's correct, but you can't adjust it.
If you try, you will destroy the plug.

NGK or Bust. Honestly the only plug that doesn't give you issues

NGK for Honda and Denso for Toyota, many mechanics told me the car latterly built around these spark plug manufacture so stick with it.
