Tunified Turtle

I have a 2005 acura tl base auto. I want it to be my project and i dont know what engine and tranny to swap in. Tuning is my biggest struggle and i want it to be as easy as possible (I know no matter what it wont be easy.) Ive read many people use the 3.5 out of a odyssey but what tranny do i use? And what ecu? Wiring harness? I want a turbo set up.

sell the 05 and buy an 08 type-s Manual.

I can tell you right away; you'll never get the project started. and you might as well start off with a car that already can be tuned...so you dont have to swap shit...just fab up your own turbo and tune

So far there have been several flavors of, "Sell your car and use the proceeds to buy something more in line with what you want", and I couldn't agree more. The thing is, "V" style engines are very difficult (read E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E) to turbocharge due to their packaging and a lack of available space, couple that with the fact you'd need to lose the "Glass/Fragile, Handle with Care" autotragic transmission in favor of a 6MT swap, and to do it right on your car you're probably looking at something like a minimum of $10,000 to achieve your goals.
