Side engine mount: 50820-SEP-A01 or 50820-SEP-A21?
So my side engine mount cracked and i'm getting the part online, Acura gave me this PN 50820-SEP-A01 but when i google i also get 50820-SEP-A21, which seems more recent design?
Some site list both some say A21 are not compatible... some say A21 replaces A01.
Are they both compatible for my base 07 TL? If so should i aim to get A21?
Thanks,
MM

50820-SEP-A21 replaces 50820-SEP-A01, but these are for the '04-'06 models. As 08KBP mentioned, you want 50820-SEP-A03 for your year. Didn't think they would be different but better safe than sorry.

First 5 numbers identify the specific type of part, next 3 characters specify what chassis the part is made for. SEP is the designation for a TL, so any of the 50820-SEP mounts should work for your car.

A21, A01, A03... They should be compatible. The last 3 characters of the part number tell you the origin, version, or source of the part. The A means the part was made for the North American Market, while the digits following that identify the version/manufacturer of the part.

Corrected my response....sorry for the confusion.

I think what I was trying to say was between a21. a01, and a03, any of those mounts should work to replace the current one. The last 3 characters in the part number tells us what version of the part it is. That could include which market the part was made for, revision number, or model trim it's made for. Thanks for catching that...sorry for the confusion.
