Shut Off the Auto-Mirror Adjust Feature in Reverse
Does anybody know how to shut off the automatic feature that adjusts the driver side mirror down when you put the car in reverse? I have a 6MT so is this just a feature for 6MT..
When I first got my car like 2 weeks ago now, I noticed this feature, and I am really worried about this freezing in the winter and I would like to be able to shut it off.
Thanks

Hi
I would also like to completely turn off the automatic feature that adjusts L&R mirrors.
When I move the L/R mirror adjustment switch in the center, mirrors will stop moving, but every once in a while the left mirror will start making noises and move down on its own. I am guessing the motor inside is going bad?
Is there a way to turn this automatic feature off with an OBD2 scanner or by unplugging the correct fuse?
Or should I just replace the motor inside the left mirror?
Thanks

Check to see if the mirror is centered up & down . If its been knocked off of center it can be at the end of its travel and trying to return to the driver preset position.
