"Service due soon A"

What does it mean?

What does the service entail?

How much will it run $$$ (car is under warranty if it matters)?

TIA.

"A"= oil change. If you don't like changing your own, shouldn't be more than $40- tops.

the manual list's codes, and hold down the reset button for approx 10 seconds on the screen that says what service is needed then you answer yes when it asks you if you want to clear.............

..Mark.. , Here's a link to Owners Manuals in case you don't have one.

https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp

Services for each code are listed in the Maint section.

You can also set up an Acura Owner Link account and Maint Services are listed there as well.

Mark,
Note that the service item (A) will also be accompanied by a number, which is another maintenance item. So 'A1' will be oil change + tire rotation. See manual posted by ggesq.

Not necessarily. Mine has just shown "A" a few times (including the most recent service....which was fine, as I had just gotten new tyres two weeks earlier and thus did not need a rotation regardless of what the thing said).

Yes, I know this thread is ancient, but I didn't feel the need to start another. My display is saying "Service Due Soon A" and holding reset for 10 seconds does not get rid of the notice. After holding the reset button for 5 seconds or so, it progresses to the next screen and the "i" indicator is still lit. How does one reset the reminder on a 2008 MDX?

I'm assuming the process is the same for a TL and for an MDX, but wouldn't you get more responses if you had posted in the MDX section?
