Thumbs up

Ron.... looking sweet bro!!

This kit is the only reason the new TL is on my list as an option for my next car. Can't wait to see the 100% final product once you are able to photograph it with your wheels, etc.

Good stuff

Those are definitely the wheels I'm getting for the TL, can you post costs on those yet?

The Devotions? There was a group buy a month ago, but it's over. Last I heard he had one set extra. I'm guessing prices are on his site http://www.ronjonwheels.com/ .

Chill_dog, the wheels have just been completed, centers only, now they are being sent out to the painter, we had a small problem with the centercaps, but has been resolved.

As for pricing on the devotions, those are custom quoted, call in for a price.

junior, mod and vendor, lucky dog!

Paint matching is very dificult with out having the vehicle in front of you to match since paint condition varies from vehicle to vehicle, so we have no guarentee on our paint. We are using the OEM paint codes. This option is for those who really don't want the hassle of finding a shop and would risk the chance of a slight mismatch. Now a 2 stage paint like metallic or 3 stage paint like pearl is Extremely dificult to match, that is another reason why, and even the original vehicle might have mismatched panels from the factory. Our paint won't match any better or worse than the prepainted A-Spec.

Sorry to take this off topic Ron, but can you post pictures of the different finishes of the devotions on your site?

Thanks

Site says to call for pricing, care to disclose what the group buy pricing was? Not going to be in the market for awhile anyway, so just checking.

I think they will sell well ron, all I was saying is that the majority of the people buying the kit, have already stated they dislike the oem grille with the kit, do you remember that thread about your RJ custom grille? I'm honsestly just trying to help out You know I support what your doing and honestly am being picky because that's what car people do. I am aware that the grille is part of the bumper, and that mesh was impossible without permanently modifying the car, but from what im learnign right now about body kits, poly-urethane is the strongest, and it is a bitch to mess around with, if people do want to make changes to the air ducts and to grille. I'm unfamiliar with thiis filler idea of yours, so that perhaps could look professional, but opposed to just fiberglass, which is isnt too difficult to mold into shape, this poly-urethane is going to be a bitch correct?

but overall, it's super! congrats.

Whenever you can, try to do a 3D picture of the car that we can spin around, the tools are out there. it would be amazing and it will increase sales too...

I was thinking of sending somebody ddown there from the board with decent skills, but the car is gone already, and I will be shooting it with the wheels and all when it gets here. thanks. jatt, wait till you see the clear images, and the ass is not so bulky now, flat asses are in, look at the G35.

A-1 Job RonDog

From a Canadian owner of the TL... RonDog that modification to the rear

is how the original should have been done, with a slope away from the car

instead of the ledge which I find nothing more than a water collector and

nuisence when loading the trunk with whatever, be it golf clubs or groceries.

Job well done. Would the grill be availabe as a stand alone component for purchase?

Again, RonJon, very impressive execution from design to production.

I think it looks great, but to me, it seems like the center section seems too big (where the front plate would go). I feel the same way about the factory bumper though...

Grille looks good...any way to get rid of the upper portion that's on the hood? Or would that be a remove and bondo type job?

I totally agree. That ledge annoys the crap out of me. Esp if you do a quick wash or it rains, the water collects there and creates spots. So annoying, I'm glad this rear is designed to eliminate that issue. Looks great!

Thumbs up RonJon Kit Photos

RonJon, another thing I particularly like with your design for the

rear of the TL, is the way you have incorporated the rear sweep down from the

taillight housing to the bumper proper. It almost "Mirrors" the shape and sweep

of the taillight themselves, giving a much bolder, yet cleaner styling to the

car. How much is that in Canadian Dollars...... JK.
