Replacing catalytic converter bank 1

I'm pretty sure I can tackle this on just can not find any information on it. If somebody can run me throught the process of replacing the catalytic converter, the one between motor and firewall,I would highly appreciate it

First. make certain cat is bad and in need of replacement.
Here's one for a Honda V6 that should be similar.

Sometimes they need heat and a lot of PB Plaster in advance.

Have you replaced it yet? I just got my cat for bank 1. How long did it take you?

its pretty easy. I didnt have to take the heat shields off. I snuck it out by removing strut bar, app sensor and acouple brackets on the valve cover that were in the way. Secret is to remove the studs where you bolt on the cat. If you can remove them, you can maneuver the cat out easy breezy.

if you need a cat, check your oil. Its probably burning at least a quart or 2 in between oil changes. Change them out with pre cat deletes!! Worth the money for the power gains.

You should've replied quicker! I removed the cat from the bottom-end of the car, but was able to install the new one from the top.
