I have a 2008 TL with a (newly) cracked dash. I have looked and read a variety of threads here - they've been very helpful. My questions are:

1. Do new dashes issues by Acura dealerships still feature this defect, or have they been updated/improved in some way? Has someone had success with installing a new dash?
2. Does anyone have success with a used dash, and if so, after how many years?
3. Is there an aftermarket supplier of TL dashes that are known not to have this defect?
4. What do people feel about a dash cover? How long did that take to install?

(I'm mostly interested in the first question)
