So i read that after 10% i think, the little screen gives you a code (ie: A1) but what happens if you change the oil before? Like when it reaches 30% ? Will it still give me the code eventually

once you change the oil you should reset the system back to 100% life. The process is outline in the manual and is fairly easy. The system will still give you the code if you don't reset the minder and you let it decrease.

Either way, when you do reset it, it'll give you the suggested maintenance at that time. So if you do it now, it'll show you what the car thinks should be done.

The maintenance minder system is very good based on oil analysis on being conservative with the intervals it suggests. I run Mobil 5W-30 Extended Performance High Mileage 15,000 for around 10-12K miles.
